Creating your financial plan begins with your email or phone call. We will talk about
what you are looking for in a financial plan and the services that I provide.
The next step is to schedule
a meeting at your house or office. The meeting costs you nothing but is simply a time for us to discuss your situation
and how I can serve you. We will also go over the following documents that I ask you to have on hand:
1. A monthly list of expenses
2. A balance sheet (list of assets and liabilities)
3. The latest statements
of all investment accounts
4. Declarations pages of all insurance policies
5. Your latest mortgage
statement
6. Your last three tax returns
7. Information on employee benefits
8. Your wills
and powers of attorney
9. Any other documents that you wish to discuss
In the week following our
meeting I will provide you with a quote for your plan. The quote is a flat fee based on the time estimated to complete
the work and the complexity involved.
If you decide to have a plan created for you, an engagement agreement
will be sent for you to sign and return. Your plan will be created over the next 4-6 weeks after the agreement has been
received.
Once your plan has been completed we will schedule a second meeting to thoroughly discuss your plan.
It's important to me that you understand the recommendations in your plan and that you feel confident about reaching your
goals.
